New Research Study with the University of Toronto: Exploring Oral Health Needs of Racialized Women in Canada

July 2023

The Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation has partnered with the University of Toronto’s Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation on a research project looking at the oral health needs of racialized women who experience intimate partner violence. The goal of this study is to identify and examine the obstacles that racialized women face when seeking and using dental care services in Canada. The information from this study will be used to develop a stronger case to prioritize access to necessary dental care for IPV survivors in Ontario. Reach out to the study team if you are interested in joining or would like to know more about how to support this project.
