New Years has always been a time of togetherness, of friends, and family. A time when we can shed the burdens of yesteryear, and move ahead with fresh motivation. The Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation hosted our 1st Annual New Year’s Eve celebration.
The Foundation sought the good taste of The Village Grocer, and Noble Estates to offer Oyster & Home Chef Dinner Kits with a donated bottle of Bottega Prosecco coupled with a virtual oyster shucking tutorial from Chef Paul Hadian, curator of the Dine in Style feast. Chef Paul has experience under Chef David Chang from Momofuku and local Master Chef Susur Lee. Each Home Chef Dinner Kit came with everything needed to make a beautiful three course meal with dessert, step-by-step tutorial and a gift bag with complimentary party favours. Each Dine In Style Feast was delivered right to our donors’ doorstep. The virtual celebration was a success and the evening was filled with laughter and delicious food. The Foundation was able to reach our goal of $5000!
