International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women – while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender balance. The theme for 2021 was #ChoosetoChallenge. This year’s theme challenged and called out gender bias, inequality and celebrated women’s achievements to create an inclusive world.
In celebration of our 11th anniversary on International Women’s Day, the Dr. Borna Meisami Commemorative Foundation held two half-day interactive workshops on March 7 led by female experts in healthcare. The first workshop, facilitated by Dr. Mamta Gautam, guided guests through key aspects of leadership, highlighting the essential skills needed to both embrace and shape the future. The second workshop, facilitated by Dr. Indra Narang and Dr. Damien Noone, addressed the role of Allyship in promoting an environment of critical inclusion in healthcare.
